Invitation to the final exhibition "Von #HannoverKolonial zu HannoverDekolonial"

The exhibition "#HannoverKolonial - erinnert? vergessen? kritisiert?" has been on display at the ZeitZentrum Zivilcourage for nine months. The exhibition deals with places in Hanover relevant to colonial history and the question of how these can be presented visually without reproducing old perceptions.

Now the exhibition ends with a finissage on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 6.30 pm. We would like to use this event as an opportunity to look back on the experiences we have had during the exhibition and the accompanying events. Above all, however, we would like to discuss with the audience how the current decolonization process in the city of Hanover could continue.

On behalf of the exhibition group, I cordially invite you to this event. Several students of the Master Atlantic Studies were also involved in the project, so we would be particularly pleased to welcome guests from the Center.
